About Mindshift

Why we built Mindshift

We’ve seen what happens when high-performing teams run on empty. Mindshift exists to give companies a better way.

Our origin
The story

Three groups, all struggling, none connected

We built Mindshift after seeing burnout, quiet quitting, and mental health issues across fast-growing companies.

  • Employees were struggling in silence, unsure who was safe to tell
  • HR and People teams were overwhelmed and under-resourced
  • Leadership lacked real visibility until it showed up in headcount reports
What we believe

Three convictions the whole platform rests on

01

Mental health at work is a business issue, not just a personal one.

It shows up in retention, productivity, and risk long before it shows up in a resignation letter.
02

Support must be proactive, not only available in crisis.

Waiting for a crisis is the most expensive possible moment to start helping someone.
03

Employees deserve confidentiality; leaders deserve insight.

Those two things are not in conflict when the reporting model is designed properly.

Mindshift brings those beliefs together in a platform that works for both sides.

In practice

What those beliefs look like on a Tuesday

01 No notes go upward

Session content never reaches a manager or an HR file. Reporting is de-identified and aggregated by group, always.

02 Help before the crisis

AI-assisted check-ins between sessions mean support arrives in the ordinary hard weeks, not just the emergency ones.

03 Numbers leaders can use

Quarterly executive summaries in retention, productivity, and risk language, so wellbeing survives the budget review.

04 Built for real HR teams

Done-for-you rollout, launch communications, and manager guides. No new headcount, no extra project to run.

Careers

Work on the problem from the inside

We’re a small team of clinicians, engineers, and People operators building the support system we wish our own companies had. If that sounds like your kind of work, we’d like to hear from you.

Licensed clinicians with workplace experience

Engineers who care about privacy-first design

People operators who have run rollouts themselves

Remote-first across the US, async by default
